In Lifetime’s TV movie River Raft Nightmare, a mother and daughter set out for a fun weekend of white water rafting but it turns into a nightmare. First they get separated from their rafting party and then the daughter, Cassie, is a witness to a murder. She sees two men shooting another and instinctively screams. They chase her down and then force Cassie and her mother Sharon (Brigid Brannagh) to take them down river in their raft.
The daughter is portrayed by Leah Bateman. She’s best known for her current role as Janet on Aquarius with David Duchovny. Bateman, one of nine children – many of whom also act – has appeared on several TV shows since moving to Los Angeles in 2013 including Ray Donovan, Rizzoli & Isles, and CSI. River Raft Nightmare premieres on Lifetime on September 5 at 8pm. It will air again on September 6 at 12am and 5pm.
