Singer Daryl Hall of the famous duo Hall & Oates has been served divorce papers from his wife of six years, Amanda (nee Aspinall) Hall. She is the daughter of the late gambling club host John Aspinall who spent a big chunk of his gambling fortune on maintaining and expanding Howletts Zoo in Kent, England. When he ran out of money, he sold his most successful gambling clubs in London, Knightsbridge and Mayfair. Amanda’s half-brother, Damian Aspinall, continues to run Howletts.

Hall and Aspinall lived in Connecticut with Aspinall’s two sons from a previous relationship. TMZ reports there was a pre-nup. Fun fact: Aspinall provided back-up vocals on “Save Me’ and “Eyes For You” which are on the album Laughing Down Crying.
