NBA champion Bill Walton put on a water bottle costume and appeared on Shark Tank to show his support of Clean Bottle. The Clean Bottle unscrews at both ends for easy cleaning. It was designed by David Mayer, an Ironman triathlete who also happens to be a Stanford grad and works in Silicon Valley. Mayer got an investment (and gained a mentor) from Dallas Mavs owner Mark Cuban. Clean Bottle is now available at REI, Dicks, and GNC among others.

Mayer is now launching his second product, The Runner. It’s “the first and only water bottle holder that allows you to use your iPod or smart phone on-the-run to access your favorite apps and tunes.” His third product, The Square (see above), is a “dressed up, stainless steel version of the Clean Bottle.” Due to its design, the bottle will never roll away if dropped.
