Bradley Cooper played “a struggling writer who developed super-human abilities thanks to a mysterious drug called NZT” in the 2011 movie Limitless. The film, which was based on the 2001 book The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn, is being adapted for TV. CBS will produce a “TV-friendly approach to the story.”
On the show, a man named Brian Finch discovers NZT and uses his super cognitive abilities to help the FBI solve cases. Jake McDorman (Greek, Shameless) will star as Finch. Cooper will reprise his role as Edward Mora who is now a senator with aspirations to become president. He has big plans for his protege, Finch. Limitless will air in the fall on Tuesdays at 10pm.
