Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry brought his beautiful basketball show to Brooklyn last night as the Warriors (46-12) took on the Nets. Curry jerseys dotted the stands and the fans made no effort to conceal their love for Curry, who is getting used to playing in friendly arenas. (Wait for the playoffs, Steph!)
At one point as Curry led a Golden State comeback, he even heard chants of “MVP! MVP!” from the Brooklyn crowd. Curry said afterwards: “I kind of forgot (I was in Brooklyn) for a second, to be honest with you…all of a sudden it started to get going and we had a big contingency of fans.” Which makes Steph Curry the first person ever to forget he was in Brooklyn. (Go to Brooklyn–you’ll know you’re there.) The Nets (25-33) rallied for a 110-108 win on a Jared Jack jumper.
