Life is never easy for Booth and Brennan on Bones. Last year their house blew up and Brennan’s pregnant again. They already have a child, of course, but as Emily Deschanel says of Brennan, “she’s aware that she’s bringing this person into this world that’s very dangerous. And she starts questioning that, and it’s an emotional thing for her—and for Booth, but especially for Brennan.”
That emotion will only be heightened by restive spirits deep inside Booth. Bones Executive Producer Stepen Nathan told Entertainment Weekly that “Booth is going to be confronted with demons from his past which he thought he had exorcised.” Nathan added: “We’re really shaking it up pretty dramatically in the second half of this season.” That’s because, despite aiming for a season 11, everybody knows that season 10 may be the last for Bones and the show is determined to give its hugely loyal fan base everything it’s got. This is going to be some Bones shake-up–you just watch.
