Lily Tomlin plays the lead in the new film Grandma. She goes with her 18-year-old granddaughter Sage (Julia Garner) to approach the boy (Nat Wolff) who got Sage pregnant. Tomlin tells the boy to give them half the money for an abortion. “How do I know it was me?” he asks, which pushes the buttons of Grandma.
“Why didn’t you use a condom? Or for humanity get a vasectomy?” Tomlin wonders aloud. Grandma was written and directed by Paul Weitz (About a Boy, In Good Company, Antz).
