The son of Hollywood superstar Jackie Chan, Jaycee, was arrested in Beijing in August on drug charges. Police found more than 100 grams of marijuana in Jaycee Chan’s Beijing apartment and are accusing him of accommodating drug users, an offence that carries a maximum sentence of three years in jail.
While promoting his upcoming $32 million film Skiptrace in Beijing, Jackie Chan told reporters: “I am always a father. I used to be unqualified father. Now, after this event, I want to be a qualified father.” In Skiptrace, Chan plays a detective from Hong Kong who teams up with an American gambler (Johnny Knoxville) to battle against a notorious Chinese criminal.
