JJ Abrams and Zack Snyder have been using social media to poke fun at each other, trading crossover jokes between their two fanboy projects, Star Wars: Episode Blah and that Batman/Superman Thing Which Is Going To Suck. Snyder posted a picture of Henry Cavill dressed as a Jedi. Abrams posted an image of C3PO as Batman. Snyder responded to that with a shot of Gotham’s finest arresting a stormtrooper.
Then Abrams posted a video of the Millennium Falcon which, if you look closely, has a Batty stowaway. The video should please fans of both projects, and it at least helps answer the question ‘Just how big is the Millenium Falcon?’ The Internet waits with bated breath to see how Snyder will reply. The publicity people at Warner Bros. and Disney must be loving it. When you’re a couple of millionaire Hollywood directors handling much-loved and highly-profitable movie franchises, you can get away with this kind of thing.
