Megastar musician Sting is inviting strangers to stay at one of the six cottages located on his 900 acre Tuscan estate (£6,000 a week, or US$10k). As a bonus amenity, guests are invited to help pick his olives and grapes. Picking costs extra (£208 / US$350 a day). Sting says it’s “therapeutic.”
If you rather not pick Sting’s grapes, you can lounge by the swimming pool, take a chance over at the bee hives or peruse the farm shop where Sting and his wife Trudie sell oil, wine, honey and whatever else the guests harvest that season.
