When we say “Nicolas Cage buried his bear skull” that isn’t a euphemism. One night he and Sean Bean “had a few drinks” and were playing pool (we think it might have been more than a few) when Cage knocked over and smashed his prehistoric cave bear skull. He buried it in his garden the next day.
This information comes from Sean Bean himself, who recently answered fans’ questions at Reddit’s Ask Me Anything. The legendary actor–who has the habit of dying in almost all his films–also questioned Jon Snow’s parentage and revealed that he was weirded out at first by the severed Ned Stark head in Game of Thrones, but eventually kicked it around like a football. And if he could be a superhero, it would be Thor. He also confirmed the story that not even being stabbed in a bar fight could stop him from having another drink, and discussed a few close calls when he was injured on set. Bean may die a lot on screen, but apparently in real life he’s indestructible.
