Two clever products that solve everyday dilemmas are competing against each other on Steve Harvey’s Funderdome. The first is Kritter Kondo, a collapsible enclosure that allows indoor cats to enjoy the outdoors. The second is Switcheels, a line of high heels that transform into mid-heel shoes and flats in seconds. Inventor Briana Alan of Clair Shores, Michigan demonstrates Switcheels on Funderdome.

Briana and her husband Brad Alan came up with the idea for Switcheels at a wedding. At the end of the night, they couldn’t help but notice all the women walking around the reception barefooted. So Brad, who’s an architect, made a mechanism for a removable heel. Right now, Switcheels is still in prototype mode (that’s why they’re seeking money on Funderdome!) so you can’t buy them yet. When they are available, we’ll be sure to update this page! Think of how nice it would be to be able to transition out of any of evening shoes below! In the meantime, those Badgley Mischka heels might be worth suffering a little for. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
