HoodiePillow is a travel pillow made of memory foam and includes an attached pull-string hoodie hat that can be drawn over the eyes to block out light. It was created by Chris Hindley. When he pitched the business on Shark Tank in 2013, he asked his business partner Rebecca Rescate to join him. Rescate has had success on Shark Tank before. In 2011, she pitched CitiKitty, her toilet training program for cats, on Shark Tank and made a deal with former shark Kevin Harrington. Her experience did come in handy. She and Chris got a $90,000 investment from Robert Herjavec in exchange for 20 percent equity of HoodiePillow.
