Since he started hand crafting lens filters for action cameras back in college, PolarPro CEO Jeff Overall has always looked for ways to create easy-to-use products that can improve the images and videos of life’s adventures. For Overall that started with action cam accessories for skiers and snowballed into an appearance on Shark Tank earlier this year, where the young CEO landed a million dollar on-air offer from the Sharks.
On the show, Overall hinted that PolarPro had plans to break into the smartphone accessory space. To bring the PolarPro team’s vision for an entire roster of smartphone accessories to market, Overall partnered with respected case maker OtterBox on its recently-launched modular uniVERSE Case System. This new accessory ecosystem offers the ability to expand the features of an iPhone 6 or 7 with swappable modules using a slotted rail on the back of the case. PolarPro developed seven accessories as an inaugural partner for the launch, including a Photographer’s Bundle which includes:
- PolarPro Trippler (MSRP $49.99) – The PolarPro Trippler is a multi-faceted grip/pole/tripod/stand rolled into one which securely attaches to the OtterBox uniVERSE case. The Trippler extends from a 7.5” hand grip to a 28” selfie stick-style pole. Flip the collapsible legs out and it’s a tripod/stand with a sturdy mini ball head for shooting video.
- PolarPro Fisheye Wide-Angle Lens (MSRP $29.99) – Offering simple clip-on installation to the OtterBox uniVERSE case, the PolarPro Fisheye Wide-Angle Lens expands the camera’s view for capturing monster selfies or panoramic landscapes. Compatible with front and rear-facing cameras, the multi-coated HD glass lens delivers crisp pictures and the keychain ring keeps it on-hand wherever adventure might lead.
- PolarPro PowerPack (MSRP $49.99) – The PolarPro PowerPack is comfortable in hand or pocket when seamlessly mounted to the OtterBox uniVERSE case. The PowerPack lets the juice flow when needed for hours of supplemental battery power and the white LED light power indicators monitor remaining capacity.
