In Season 3 of NFL: Undrafted, the cameras follow 6’6″, 400-pound former college football player Laquan McGowan in Waco, Texas. After playing tight end for Baylor University, he’s hired his college tutor to work as his agent. On the show, McGowan and his agent are seen food shopping together. McGowan says he’s trying to get under 400 pounds but “something’s not letting me do it.”
In the spring, McGowan told ESPN that he would consider a career in professional wrestling — similar to the WWE’s Paul “Big Show” Wight (he’s 7-feet, 440-pounds). “I definitely do not want to work an 8-to-5 job.” McGowan has also expressed an interest in working as a bouncer (see below). NFL: Undrafted which airs Tuesdays at 8pm.
