Former NFL linebacker Dhani Jones is the host of the Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge. But there are many reporters on the course giving play-by-plays of the teams who struggle and sometimes conquer the extremely difficult obstacle race course. One of the course reporters is MJ Acosta.
MJ Acosta got her big break in TV sports journalism at the Generation Next Youth Sports Network in Miami (2011-2013). Acosta went on to cover news and entertainment for an ABC affiliate in Miami and then returned to her sports passion with NBC 7 in San Diego in January 2016. She is a graduate of Barry University and is a former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader. Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge airs Mondays at 10pm on NBC.
