Heather Saffer of Rochester, New York is a self-taught baker who makes Dollop, an all-natural, gluten-free, dairy-free, ready-to-eat frosting that can be spread on anything. It’s not Saffer’s first time on TV. She competed on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars in 2012 (and won!) and she appears regularly on her local TV morning talk show, Good Day Rochester. On Shark Tank, Saffer is asking for $75,000 for a 20 percent stakes in Dollop.
Dollop is available in four flavors – Hot Chocolate, Madagascar Vanilla, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, and Sea Salted Caramel, a 12 oz. jar of Dollop sells for $7.99 on the Dollop website and on Amazon. It’s also available in stores including Whole Foods and Wegmans. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
