In the Rush Hour episode “Captain Cole’s Playlist,” Detectives Carter (Justin Hires) and Lee (Jon Foo) work out in the field. They’re searching for a young graffiti artist who witnessed the murder of an LAPD detective. When they return to the precinct, Carter sees that the city’s District Attorney Ginardi is in Captain Cole’s (Wendie Malick) office. Carter explains to Lee, “He only shows up if one of us is in trouble.”
D.A. Ginardi is Doug Savant. He’s best known for his roles on Desperate Housewives (Tom Scavo), 24 (Craig Phillips), Melrose Place (Matt Fielding), and Knots Landing (Young Mack Mackenzie), among others. Savant most recently appeared on Castle as a Hollywood studio big wig. Rush Hour airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS.
