Justin Whisnant is the young man from Bearden, Oklahoma who sang the Cole Swindell song "Ain't Worth the Whiskey" for his Blind Audition on The Voice. On Team Blake, Justin lost the Battle Round against Mary Sarah. Now Blake is giving Whisnant another chance on the show. He's invited the Okie back to compete in the Live Playoffs which start April 11.
Justin will perform the 1991 Travis Tritt song "Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)." It's about a lover who regrets breaking up and wants redemption, but all the trust is gone. This is pre cellphones; when people used pay phones that required a quarter. When Tritt performed the song live, fans would throw quarters onto the stage. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
