Hannah Huston is the pre-school teacher on Season 10 of The Voice who’s killing it on the televised talent show. She’s made it to the Top 11. And it’s no wonder: her coach Pharrell Williams has compared her to Adele. “I love that she [Hannah] communicates when she sings,” says Pharrell. Hannah also communicates by using the written word.
A day before taking the big stage again on The Voice, Hannah shared a page of her hand-written journal on Instagram. In the middle of the page, she added a white post-it with the words “be still my soul” so it’s covering most of the entry. However, phrases like “the notes and sing for your glory” and “strength and courage to be on a big stage” reflect Hannah’s faith and the notice that she’s communicating with a higher spirit when she sings. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
