Proud wife Tori Spelling announced via social media that her husband Dean McDermott is starring in a new TV series, Slasher. The protagonist is a young woman named Sarah Bennett (Katie McGrath) who’s dealing with a serial murderer who’s copycating the famous killing of her parents years ago. Bennett works with Police Chief Vaughn (McDermott) to try to catch the “amazingly scary serial killer.” Spelling says, “My hubs is amazing!” in it.
Slasher, which was filmed mostly in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, airs Fridays at 9pm on Chiller TV aka “The Original Horror Network.” It’s an eight-part series. Dean McDermott looks very different from his days on Tori Spelling’s reality show, True Tori.
