In the Empire episode “Death Will Have His Day,” Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) declares that he will stop at nothing and no one including Camilla (Naomi Campbell) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) to rule Empire again. Meanwhile, his daughter-in-law Rhonda suffers a horrific tragedy that will affect everyone in the Lyon family.
Rhonda Lyon is portrayed by Kaitlin Doubleday. When she’s not on the set of Empire, she’s promoting her new film, Po. It’s about a young, recently widowed father (Christopher Gorham) who struggles to raise his 11-year-old autistic son Patrick aka “Po” (Julian Feder) by himself. It’s based on the true lives of the writers Colin Goldman and Steve C. Roberts, who are fathers of children with autism. (Spoiler alert: The father falls for Kaitlin's character, Amy.) For screening updates, follow the Po Facebook page. Empire airs Wednesdays at 9pm on FOX.
