On The Shannara Chronicles, based on the fantasy novels written by Terry Brooks, three young beautiful “people” are out to defend what’s left of Four Lands from a terrifying army of demons. There’s teen Elvin princess Amberle (Poppy Drayton), half-human Wil Ohmsford — he’s got some Elf in him (Austin Butler) — and human Rover Eretria, who’s obsessed with Wil.
Eretria is portrayed by Ivana Baquero. The 21-year-old actress was born in Barcelona, Spain. She got her big break in 2006 when she was cast in Guillermo Del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth as Ofelia. She was 11 years old at the time. Baquero played her first American role in the 2009 horror film The New Daughter opposite Kevin Costner. The Shannara Chronicles airs Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV.
