In the Hallmark TV movie Love’s Complicated, Leah Townsend (Holly Marie Combs) has a successful career as an author. But her personal life isn’t as satisfying. She lets everyone walk all over her — from her senator father to strangers on the street. Her relationship with her boyfriend Edward is in a rut too, but she’s not doing anything about it. So Edward signs her up for a conflict resolution class. There she meets a bombastic shock jock radio personality named Cinco Dublin who pushes her buttons and eventually wins her heart.
Cinco Dublin is portrayed by Ben Bass. He’s best known for his roles on Rookie Blue (Sam Swarek), Flashpoint (Harlan Geddes), Would Be Kings (Jamie Collins), Queer as Folk (Tad), and Monk (Gavin Lloyd). Fun fact about Bass: He landed his first role in an episode of the TV show 21 Jump Street starring Johnny Depp. Love’s Complicated premieres on the Hallmark Channel on January 9 at 9pm.
