Dakota Johnson has some serious Hollywood pedigree. The daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, Dakota's grandmother was none other than Hitchcock muse and Hollywood legend Tippi Hedren. (Hint: not a fan of Birds.) To top that off, Johnson's stepfather during her formative years was actor/director Antonio Banderas. Lesser actresses have wilted under the weight of such family connections -- and expectations. Dakota's sense of humor seems to have protected her against that familiar fate: she's equally comfortable on The Office and Saturday Night Live as she is in Fifty Shades of Grey.
This year marks the 10th anniversary -- they grow up so fast -- of Dakota Johnson being named Miss Golden Globe in 2006. The Miss Golden Globe title goes to a young woman with show biz pedigree, but also one who's an up-and-coming talent in her own right. For ten years now Dakota Johnson has made the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which gives the Golden Globes, look pretty smart. The BEST SALES on Amazon NOW ]
