In the Lifetime TV movie Last Chance for Christmas, it’s up to Santa’s stable hand John (Gabriel Hogan) to save Christmas this year. Due to a broken hoof, Prancer can’t fly. John is sent to look for a replacement. He finds one at the Miller Reindeer Ranch but the woman who owns the ranch, Annie (Hilarie Burton), doesn’t buy John’s story about working for Santa at the North Pole. Plus, there’s a Scrooge-like developer in town that’s putting a damper on the holiday season.
The Scrooge-like developer is portrayed by Tim Matheson. He’s best known for his roles in the movies Animal House (smooth talking Otter), Fletch (the husband, Alan Stanwyk), and Magnum Force (motorcycle cop Phil Sweet). He’s also recognized for his roles on TV including Hart of Dixie (Dr. Brick Breeland), Burn Notice (Larry Sizemore), The West Wing (Vice President John Hoynes), and way back when on Bonanza (Griff King), My Three Sons (Wheels), and Leave It To Beaver (Michael Harmon), among others. Last Chance for Christmas premieres on Lifetime on December 6 at 9pm.
