The Band Perry made a big splash in country music with their hit song “If I Die Young” in 2010. It reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs list. When they first arrived at red carpet events, the three siblings – brothers Reid and Neil and sister Kimberly – embraced a very country music look. Since then, the brothers have replaced their long sideburns for grungy skull caps. And Kimberly has traded in her strapless sweetheart dresses for a Black Eyed Peas Fergie look.
The band's new look reflects the band's new sound. Not all TBP fans are thrilled with the change. After listening to The Band Perry's new hit "Live Forever", Tina Killion wrote: "Please go back to Country!! I'm a big fan of your unique sound, but Pop is just not in my listening." Kat Foster was a little more gentle with her critique: "This is a slightly different sounds than the standard for this band. It is not bad but maybe I'm just nostalgic, I like their original sound better." The Band Perry will perform "Live Forever" at the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant on December 20, 7pm on FOX.
