On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna gathers Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump to discuss Yolanda Foster’s health. Yolanda believes she is battling Lyme disease. But after three years of experimental medicine, the ladies are questioning her illness and her alternative approaches. With Kyle and Lisa present, Lisa Rinna purges herself of information regarding Munchausen Syndrome, or what is commonly referred to as factitious disorder. Someone with the disorder tells improbable stories of their past medical experiences, feigns illness to draw attention to themselves and sympathy from others, and convinces people that they need extraordinary treatment.
After Lisa Rinna reads from her phone the symptoms of Munchausen Syndrome, Kyle agrees that the symptoms match a lot of what Yolanda has experienced. Lisa Rinna doesn't feel good about it. “I feel like I just have to purge myself for the fact that I even questioned it." But she is questioning Yolanda's illness. "Is it real?" she asks. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
