San Diego teenager Tyler Hadzicki is the inventor behind Leaux Racing Trikes, a three-wheel. go-cart-like bike for adults that can drift and spin 360 degrees. Hadzicki says Leaux Trikes started as a fun, weekend-build project with his dad Joe Hadzicki, a mechanical engineer and former competitive four-line kite flyer. With the help of his father Tyler started a Kickstarter campaign and raised 311 percent of his original goal.
“Experience the closest thing to a performance race car for a thousandth of the price,” the company says. Each Leaux Trike is available in red and black, and sells for $350. The 35 lbs. trike can be adjusted to fit heights from 4’11” to 6’5”. Recommended weight limit is 225 lbs.
