Chauncey Gardner, one of America’s most promising high school football players, will be featured on the TV special Under Armour All-America Game Practice Day. The 6’0”, 194-pound cornerback at Cocoa High School in Florida received 22 offers from NCAA schools including Georgia, Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Indiana, and Ohio State, among others. Gardner committed to Florida in March 2015 – he was recruited by Florida’s Kirk Callahan and Kerry Dixon.
During the Under Armour All-America Game Practice, the 19-year-old Gardner said: “I’m playing at a high level because everyone is pushing to my potential and everybody is pushing me to get better, and I’m having fun…I’m not feeding into the hype, because we are all good, we are all All-Americans, that’s why we are out.” Under Armour All-America Game Practice Day will air December 31 at 8pm on ESPNU.
