Actress Rose Siggins died at the age of 43 in a Denver hospital. TMZ reports that Siggins, who had sacral agenesis, died from complications from kidney stone surgery when she contracted a fatal infection. She is survived by two children. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated in her honor.
Siggins portrayed Legless Suzi on American Horror Story: Freak Show, the fourth season. Siggins is the second actor from the Freak Show season to die this year. Ben Woolf, the 4’4” actor who played Meep, died in February after being struck in the head by the car mirror of a SUV while crossing a street. AHS’ Ryan Murphy called him “one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met.” Sarah Paulson called Siggins, “an absolute light… I will never forget your laugh or your beautiful eyes.”
