In the TV movie Angel of Christmas, newspaper copy writer Susan is given three weeks to write a personal holiday story. She writes about a hand-carved Christmas tree angel that was made 100 years ago by her great-grandfather. The heirloom is considered magical by many who believe it helps people find true love. Susan is no exception to the rule. While the angel sits on her desk, she meets and falls in love with the cheerful artist, Brady Howe.
Brady is portrayed by Jonathan Scarfe. The Canadian-born actor has appeared on several TV shows including Law & Order: LA, Desperate Housewives, The Closer and Private Practice. He’s best known for his recurring roles on Detective McLean: Ties That Bind (Matt McLean), Hell on Wheels (Sydney Snow), Perception (Roger Probert), Raising the Bar (Charlie Sagansky), and ER (Chase Carter). Angel of Christmas premieres on the Hallmark Channel on November 29 at 8pm.
