On NCIS, a former NCIS agent is going after Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll). Years ago, Vance put the agent away for stealing evidence. Now the agent sets up Vance for murder. “The 911 tape says you attacked him,” Gibbs (Mark Harmon) tells Director Vance. “He’s framed me,” Vance says, and then asks Gibbs if he could ride with him, “as a team.” Watching Vance and Gibbs head to field duty together has its funny moments.
In the field, Vance and Gibbs get a visit from Secretary of the Navy, Sarah Porter. Secretary Porter appeared in a number of NCIS episodes in 2013 and once in 2014. (Last week she made an appearance on NCIS: New Orleans.) Porter is portrayed by Leslie Hope. She’s best known for her roles as Lea Exley on Tyrant, Joan Luss on The Strain, Kristina Frye in The Mentalist, and Teri Bauer in 24. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
