During the first battle round on The Voice, two of Pharrell’s team members square off. Mark Hood and Celeste Betton sing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Both give great performances but if you sense a little more edge in Hood’s voice it might have to do with his last run-in at the airport.
The day before the battle, Hood — who, like last season’s The Voice winner Sawyer Fredericks — likes to wear hats — tweeted: “Traveling with hats without a hard suitcase can be difficult, but it can be done. Lol.” But it didn’t stop there.
My hats go in my carry on. Any time they ask me to check my carry on bag, I refuse like never before and say give me a new flight lol #NO!

It goes on and on…
“You cannot and will not make me check my bag. Get me off of this plane!” ?? — Mark Hood (@MarkJPHood) October 12, 2015
Until Hood finally writes, “TSA loves to hate me lol.” Does Hood take his hats a little too seriously? And will calling out TSA workers help him get through the airport next time? Note: During his battle with Celeste, he’s not wearing a hat! The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm and Tuesdays at 9pm on NBC.
