Leslie Neulander was the 61-year-old woman who was found dead in the shower of her DeWitt, New York mansion in 2012. Her husband, OB/GYN Dr. Robert Neulander, was found guilty of murdering her and is serving a sentence of 20 years to life in jail. With the support of his daughter Jenna, who was in the home at the time of Leslie's death, Dr. Neulander claims he is innocent and is appealing the conviction.
One year prior to Leslie's death, her children made her a "Happy 60th, Leslie!" video and posted it on YouTube (see below). Set to the song "All I Want" by Joni Mitchell, each of her children speak to a camera about all the things they love about their mother, and how she inspires them. After Leslie's brutal death, it's heartbreaking to watch and listen to. They made a video for their father's 60th, too. They call him Tata. CBS’ 48 Hours will profile the doctor on October 3 at 10pm.
