The now sexually open-minded Blake Shelton on The Voice wooed Dallas singer Blaine Mitchell to join Team Blake. Now Blaine is preparing for his battle against fellow Team Blake member Blind Joe. Together, they’re going to sing Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll.” While Blind Joe says, “I’m not built for competition,” Blaine seems raring to go.

Blaine has already trademarked his name, as displayed on Twitter. And his band Treeside Music (which used to be called The Blaine Mitchell Band) is making great strides. With his younger brother, drummer Brady Mitchell, they’ve signed an exclusive contract with Paradigm Agency and released their latest single Hepburn. Treeside Music is promoting the single with a photo of Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s — we just hope they checked the trademark on that image! The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm and Tuesdays at 9pm on NBC.
