On The Middle, Sue Heck (Eden Sher) gets anxious when her college roommate Holly Haypek doesn’t arrive on time. Anxious is putting it mildly. She goes out of her mind and unleashes her all of her crazy thoughts and concerns onto her parents, Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike (Neil Flynn), with phone calls and texts. When Holly finally does show up, Sue isn’t relieved.
Holly Haypek is portrayed by Lyndon Smith. She’s known for her roles on Parenthood (Natalie) and 90210 (Michaela). She’s currently starring in Ed Burns’ Public Morals (Deirdre) and Extant with Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry (Kelsey Richer). You can see Smith on the big screen in November. She has a role in the thriller Secret in Their Eyes with a couple of other Oscar winners, Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts. The Middle airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
