Two years ago Donald Trump took the solemn occasion of September 11 -- when most Americans commemorate the heroic response by citizens to the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington -- as an opportunity to lash out at losers and haters. Losers and haters are regular Trump targets, but it was particularly vituperative even for Trump to mix 9/11 with his regular aggression.
Trump retweeted the 2-year-old tweet this morning -- and then deleted it. Next, as seen below the retweet of the original, he tweeted a more sober sentiment in remembrance. Trump will be on Jimmy Fallon tonight, which he says "should be fun!" What it will be for sure is viewed. Trump remains ratings gold, and Fallon should draw huge numbers for his Friday night appearance.
Let’s all take a moment to remember all of the heroes from a very tragic day that we cannot let happen again!
