On Food Fighters, Alyssia Birnbaum, a stay-at-home mom from Dallas, goes head-to-head against master chefs including celeb chef Brian Malarkey. She’s going to prepare a Southern dish with an Asian twist while Malarkey makes a tempura fish dish.
Malarkey has seven restaurants in the US including Searsucker in San Diego, Del Mar, and Austin, and Herringbone in La Jolla and Los Angeles. His next will be in Las Vegas (Searsucker) and a brand new concept in San Diego’s Little Italy. Oh, and he owns those two healthy fast-casual places in San Diego called Green Acre (each has its own organic garden). Food Fighters airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
