Brian Shaw captured the title "World's Strongest Man" in both 2011 and 2013. How big is he? He stands 6’8” tall and weighs 435lbs. He can bench press 585 pounds and can deadlift 1,122 lbs. Being that big and strong requires the consumption of a lot of calories. Shaw eats 9,000 in a single day. His favorite meal is chili.
When he’s not proving his strength at competitions around the world (he just won the 2015 Arnold Strongman Classic in Australia and in the USA), he’s either filming weightlifting/benching videos or he’s on TV. On Extreme Weight Loss Shaw’s going to try his best to inspire Panda, a 27-year-old counselor, to strengthen his body and mind. Extreme Weight Loss airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC.
