The blonde 22-year-old conservative news anchor Tomi Lahren unleashed a torrent of frustration with President Obama's "be-friendly-to-jihadis mentality" that struck a chord on the Internet in the wake of the Chattanooga shootings of five military service members. Saying "radical Islam is becoming the rule, not the exception," Lahren -- a stylistic protege of Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck -- asserted that the president is more "concerned with Muslim sensitivity than the honor and sacrifice made by these Marines."
Nearly 3 million people have viewed the video online, which for a political rant is a lot. Lahren packs a lot of words and accusations into her two-and-a-half minute monologue. She recommends we take the fight to the radical Islamists, who have brought it here. (But as one commenter says: "Haven't we pretty much been doing everything she mentioned we should be doing for years now?") The UNLV alum Lahren gives this advice on Twitter: "Get on your knees & pray then get on your feet and work." She works for One America News Network. You can email her here: [email protected]
