The latest addition to Real Housewives of New York City, Dorinda Medley, is a widow. Her hedge fund honcho husband Richard Medley died three years ago. But now the 40-something Dorinda is dating again. Her beau is John Mahdessian, the owner of the custom couture cleaning business Madame Paulette. The business was founded in the 1950s by his great uncle. John didn’t plan to run the family business. He went to Villanova and was about to take a job in investment banking when his father became ill. When he “went to help out for a month at Madame Paulette,” he decided to stay.
Glamour reports that when Dorinda drops by at Madame Paulette “with an armful of soiled silk, she builds in some time for snooping on other customers' fancy outfits—and who among us wouldn't do that?” RHONY airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
