A young kindergarten teacher and mother of two, Heather Jones, lost 160 pounds and gained a new lease on life. Jones took to dancing the Rumba at a local dance club in Germantown, TN. After one night out, she never came home. WMCA reported that her body was found about two weeks later--burned, wrapped up in an air mattress, and tied with rope.
Heather Jones had filed for divorce, which provoked her husband Chris Jones to kill her. Jones was allegedly a control freak driven mad by his wife's new look and outlook. He wanted her to gain the weight back and then finally killed her in a jealous rage. He was found guilty of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Dateline NBC provides more details of the murder case on Friday, April 3, 10pm.
