Or, The One Thing You Can’t Take Away from Drew Barrymore
Or, The One Thing Drew Barrymore Can’t Destroy
Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is adapting to the life (and body) of a 40-year-old mother of two children. She spoke candidly about the effects of having children on her physically. “You feel like a kangaroo with a giant pouch: everything’s saggy and weird.” But the always optimist Barrymore also said, “But you think about how beautiful it is that you’re able to make children. When I lose sight of that, I exercise, read Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, and spend time with my kids.”
Barrymore is pleased to report that her hair seems immune to her physical shifts. “My hair [is my favorite feature]. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I destroy it time and time again, and it’s still there, semi-happy,” she said.
