Michael Keaton had his acceptance speech in hand, it appears, as the Best Actor Oscar was called out. He swiftly and probably a little sadly put it back in his jacket pocket, next to his heart.
Keaton had good reason to believe he'd win--Birdman won Best Picture and its director Alejandro G. Iñárritu won Best Director. And below the Vine is a version of what Birdman might have said.
