After John Boehner went after President Obama in a letter using 12 animated Taylor Swift GIFs, PBS Newshour knew the game had changed. It's a GIF world now, and they have to play in it too. So PBS has done its own animated GIF series, called unofficially A Tale of Two Parties, using ten animated GIFs to show critical moments in the State of the Union. History, have mercy on us.
Number 1, if you must know, is called: "President Obama’s charm offensive was in full effect." It features a smiling Obama repeatedly (it's a GIF!) kissing and smiling, kissing and smiling. The whole thing is here.
