If only the game were 30 seconds long, Gordon Hayward would be called the King–not LeBron James. Well, this 30 seconds anyway. The struggling Cavaliers–on a team mission to get rookie coach David Blatt fired–lost again on this arduous season-starting West Coast road trip.
This time it was the Utah Jazz that beat up LeBron James and company. And before Jazz forward Gordon Hayward hit the eventual game-winner, he did this to LeBron James. Hayward chased him down from behind and blocked a LeBron lay-up off the backboard, then ran down to the other end for a malicious slam while LeBron pouted about an alleged goaltending that wasn’t called. No word whether LeBron blamed the sequence on last year’s Cavaliers.
