The eldest daughter of Teresa Giudice (Real Housewives of New Jersey) is Gia, 13, who's a member of 3KT, an all-girl talent act. They just released their first music video set to Britney Spears’ song, Circus. Many viewers on YouTube have commented that they don’t think 13-year-old girls should dress and dance as if they’re sexy 25-year-olds. But the more provocative debate prompted by the video was initiated by Matthew Boyd who wrote: “To be honest, I wasn’t offended until the girl started ‘rapping.’”
Boyd went on to say that he’s “sick of non-black appropriating black culture to try to appear more cultured and current.” Boyd wasn’t alone. Gin P chimed in and wrote: “I was also offended while the girl was rapping making a subtle diss at minimum wage workers.” When Eminem comes up in conversation – as a white guy who raps – he’s excused because at least he “comes from a rough background…these girls come from presumably comfortable middle or upper class sheltered suburban families.” This month, both of Gia's parents were sentenced to jail on multiple charges of mail and bank fraud. Her mother received a 15-month sentence, her father, Joe Giudice, will serve 41-months.
