"America's Team," the Dallas Cowboys, will play the Jacksonville Jaguars far from home in London this weekend. So naturally they created a hashtag about the game, thinking to combine the team name with where they're playing. Simple enough. Though some fans--fans of other teams mostly--are gleefully reading the hashtag differently than the Cowboys media people intended.
Cowboys plus UK (United Kingdom)? Easy to arrive at #cowboysUK, which they did. But say you're a Philadelphia Eagles fan, like Philly TV producer Aaron Inver. You might see the emphasis in the SUK.
The Cowboys have decided on a hashtag for their game overseas. It's #CowboysUK. At least they know it!
