The star of TLC's reality show Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, was arrested Thursday morning for driving his yellow 2014 Corvette while intoxicated in New York City. The 37-year-old celebrity chef also serves as head baker at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey, and is the face of Buddy V’s. He is married with four children.
Some Cake Boss fans including pop singer Adam Barta think the show should bring back Cake Boss intern Tone Tone to replace Buddy. Tone Tone is the nickname of Tony Albanese, now known as The Pastryarch. Albanese seems ripe for a reality TV show takeover. Here's his response to the news of Valastro's arreest: "All the money in the world and you can't get a taxi...but a corvette? Naturally. This whole fake 'wholesome family guy' persona they pushed will make this even harder to deal with."
